The Secular Life has nothing to do with living in a Sancified Life

Purpose: LORD open our eyes that we might see the truth and not follow the lies of men.

2Co 4:1 ¶ Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2Co 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

(This is a full time position for the person who is saved!)

Have you received the mercy of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that he died for everybody’s sin personally and that he was buried and that he rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures and has return to his Father in Heaven. Will you receive the free gift of God of Eternal Life?)

2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

(If you have not received the Gospel then you are lost.) Here is what Jesus said to others

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

(There is so much that God has for his children and he has made it clear about the things of this world are only temporal and has no eternal purpose. As I have examine his Holy Bible and prayed for understanding and wisdom of God he is always dealing with things of the heart and mind and very little of material things.)

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Tit 2:11 ¶ For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

(There is so much, he is very serious about sin, call it iniquity, redeemed us from, not to continue in sin. He has a work that he does in our lives of a process of purification unto a peculiar people. Our only part is to trust and obey him. It is that simple. He does not ask us to do something that he did not do first, for he always obeyed and trusted his Father in heaven where he came from.)

Joh 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Joh 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

1Co 3:1 ¶ And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
1Co 3:3
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

(The Apostle Paul is speaking of two groups of Christians, those who are babes in Christ and the Spiritual, those who have grown in Christ who are not control by their emotions and feelings such as envy, strife and divisions. Another name is called putting off the old man and walking in the Spirit, the new man.)

Eph 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

(2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds😉
2Co 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

(We do walk in flesh and blood until we receive our glorified bodies, a benefit only to the saved, but every Christian is in a spiritual war everyday until Christ Jesus comes back and sets up His kingdom and rules and reigns with all authority over all the nations of this earth. This war is not a part time position it requires full allegiance for every Christian that is alive for every day of his life. He is not asking us to do something that he has not done but only to follow in his foot steps and trust God for the results.)

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2 Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

(Question, in the world of things where does that person have his rejoicing? His stocks or his achievements, or of winning the lottery? For the Christian, the Apostle Paul instructs the Church that his rejoicing is in the testimony of his conscience, in simple godly precepts, the Word of God that controls the heart which is sincere and pure towards God. This is only possible by the Grace of God and has nothing to do with our flesh no matter how good our intentions are. You can only build a testimony by how you conduct your life twenty fours hours a day seven days a week.)

1 Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

(The Apostle Peter is giving instruction to a new testament local Church about the subject of “not the people of God and the people of God”. The Jew and the Gentile must become born into the family of God to become a child of God. The Child of God has the mercy of God upon him. Mercy is not a right but favor shown to those who will receive it; knowing that they do not deserve it. Mercy is what people want, but they must first come to the source of the Mercy of God and they shall not be turned away. Praise God for his Great Mercy. We as God’s Children and have become citizens of another country, A Heavenly Place. Therefore we are now strangers and pilgrims to this world and no longer a subject of the king of this world and his devices that war against our souls.)

Joh 3:1 ¶ There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
Joh 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Ps 107:1 ¶ O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Ps 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1Jo 2:12 ¶ I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
1Jo 2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
1Jo 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1Jo 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

(The Christian is not suppose to live by the philosophy of God on Sundays and secular appointed times such as work, school, and free time. Christ did not tell the Father I have my secular time. No, Jesus and the Father were inseparable in all things and all time.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Col 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
